Baby Toys and Town Houses
Dexee needs more toys. Right now she only has one that she is interested in, a really old hand me down child’s piano (it may be old, hand me down, and out of tune but it is still super awesome, plus it has a new paint job) that I got from a friend. She likes it because she can pick herself up to stand and than bang on the keys. I need to get her more stuff like that.
I should start going to consignment shops and Goodwills. Brand new toys are over rated, I want the worn out shit with some personality. Besides, Dex doesn’t know the difference and if she did I doubt she’d care.
The only reason I’m on the computer right now actually is because Dexee is banging away at the piano, laughing, and playing beautiful songs.
Oh Good news by the way, My mother has signed the lease to move into a townhouse not to far from where we live now now. She found it through Craigslist (sketch I know) but it turns out that land lord is a teacher at a local highschool and since my mom is a teacher at an different local high school, she was able to check him out.
The BEST news is…I get to keep my cat/ good friend of 11 years AND my cat get’s to keep her claws! The house even has a kitty door that goes from the basement to the main floor.
Yeah it has a basement! And my mom said Patrick and I can claim it as long as our shit doesn’t end up on the main floor. We also get a room upstairs and Dexee gets a room too, though she will probably still sleep with us. The basement door opens up to the back yard so it will be easy for Patrick and I to have friends over now.
We are SOOOOOOOOO excited, we move in the first of July!
And there is storage space in the house so we can get rid of the storage place we have now and save money (which helps because our rent is going up from 300 to 500 dollars, I know that is nothing. Especially in NOVA where cost of living is insane. Thank you mother!)
